Jim grew up in the woods of East Texas, just outside of Tyler. Jim is a registered member of the Ottawa Indian Tribe of Oklahoma, and a tenth-generational grandson of Chief Pontiac. He attended Ottawa University in Kansas where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Upon graduation, Jim joined his father's real estate firm, gaining extensive experience in Forest, Farm & Ranch, and Oil & Gas representation. In 2016, Jim founded TexVoIP Communications, a company that offers Hosted VoIP and Unified Communications services. By 2018, the company had begun doing fiber optic repair work, which quickly turned into campus construction, then later, outside plant construction. This division of TexVoIP Communications became LumiFiber Utility Construction in 2021. Jim is certified by the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) as a Fiber Optic Specialist with concentrations in Outside Plant Construction, Splicing, and Testing.
A native Houstonian, Isaac has spent most of his life residing in Sugar Land. He is an avid hunter, and enjoys spending as much time as he can with his twin girls on their family ranch outside of San Antonio. Isaac began his career doing commercial electrical work before switching to Low Voltage and Telecommunications. After working his way up to Lead Low Voltage Technician with MCA Communications, Isaac added fiber optics to his already expansive toolkit. Beginning as a Premise Fiber Optic Technician for AT&T, Isaac mastered skills in fiber optic splicing. He later moved on to fiber optic and coax Outside Plant Construction for Windstream and Spectrum Communications where he ascended to the position of Outside Plant Project Manager. In early 2023, Isaac joined LumiFiber as a Senior Project Manager, and in February 2024, he became a partner and promoted to Director of Field Operations. Isaac is certified by the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) as a Fiber Optic Technician.
